Goh Chee Sun
LL.B (Hons)(University of London), CLP (Malaysia)
Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) degree from the University of London in 2011 and completed his Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in year 2012.
In year 2013, he read in the Chambers of Messrs Presgrave & Matthews, Penang. Goh was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 3rd January 2014.
In September 2013, even though Goh was still reading in the Chambers of Messrs. Presgrave & Matthews that time, he was appointed as Assistant Registrar for the Penang State Commission of Enquiry on civil structure failure by the Penang state.
Goh has a keen interest in Corporate and Commercial work. He also focuses in the areas of land related disputes, banking litigation, debt recovery, construction, family law and providing legal advice to a few listed company and Management Corporation and Joint Management Body. Besides, Goh is also the consultant for Actfast property Group.
As the managing partner of the firm, Goh also the person in charge for Business Development of the firm. In the year of 2023, he has been awarded with “Pingat Jasa Malaysia” (P.J.M.) by the Government of Malaysia.

Zephyr Lee Kah Feei
Ms. Zephyr Lee Kah Feei is a law graduate from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) with a LL.B. (Hons) Degree. She had commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Christina Chia Ng & Partners, Kuala Lumpur where she was exposed with vast experiences in both conveyancing and litigation matters. Then she was called to Malaysian Bar on 4 June 2010 and now she is a member of the Bar with more than 14 years of experience.
Ms. Lee started her legal journey at Messrs. P.G. Lim & Co., Kuala Lumpur in June 2010. She was highly exposed to all aspects of law and practices especially in conveyancing matters such as drafting of wide range of legal documents and forms under National Land Code, drafting of commercial agreements (joint venture agreement, share sale agreement, shareholder agreement, preference share agreement etc), preparation of sale and purchase agreements for both project and sub-sale matters, conventional and Islamic banking for the famous local banks and foreign banks including but not limited to securitization of documents for project financing, bridging, and end-financing beside auction, trusts, wills drafting, real estate matters etc.
She continues to gain and expand her legal knowledge particularly in litigation matters such as general & civil litigation (contractual disputes, tenancy disputes, debt recovery and execution/enforcement proceeding), banking litigation (civil foreclosure, bankruptcy and insolvency), probate and letter of administration, matrimonial proceeding, small estate and appellate practice.
Throughout her practice, Ms. Lee strives to provide legal solutions as well as practical and holistic solutions to clients. Adrian Lee Yung Khin
Adrian graduated with a law degree from Multimedia University in 2015 and completed his pupillage at Messrs Sidek Wong Teoh & Dennis in 2016. As a Legal Associate at the same firm, he specialized in various litigation practices, including Banking Litigation, Debt Recovery, General Litigation, and Commercial Disputes. During this period, Adrian managed legal portfolios for major clients like AIA Bhd., CIMB Bank, and Maybank, and handled corporate and directors’ disputes for Singaporean clients, demonstrating his expertise in complex cross-border matters.
In recognition of his legal acumen and leadership capabilities, Adrian advanced to become the Head of Litigation and a Partner at Messrs Chee Sun & Associates. Adrian has successfully conducted trials and hearings across all tiers of the Malaysian judiciary, including the Magistrate Court, Sessions Court, and High Court, as well as appellate matters in the Court of Appeal and Federal Court. His extensive litigation experience encompasses a diverse range of practice areas, including but not limited to:

Additionally, he is well-versed in Adjudication, particularly under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) 2012.

Watchreen Teh Ker Shing
Watchreen was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) (Hons) from University of West of England (Bristol), United Kingdom. She was called to the England and Wales Bar and was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law, Middle Temple. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
During her pupillage at Messrs Ghazi & Lim, she was assisting her fellow colleagues in Banking Litigation and Corporate matters. Watchreen also mitigates on behalf of the accused for drug related offences in Court during her tenure in Messrs Ghazi & Lim.
She joins Messrs Chee Sun & Associates as a Legal Associate, focusing on conveyancing matters mainly on sub-sale transaction for residential, commercial and lands between individuals or companies.

Lim Jong Yee
Ms Lim Jong Yee read law at Multimedia University and graudated with a Bachelor of Law degree in the year of 2021. During the course of her tertiary education, she had undergone internship training at Messrs. Soon & Partners. She was given chance to handle conveyancing matters.
Upon graduating, she commenced her pupilage in Messrs Chee Sun & Associates. She was admitted and enrolled to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor on September 2022. Having completed her pupillage, she continues her practice in Messrs. Chee Sun & Associates and is currently handling conveyancing matters.
She was exposed to conveyancing matters including sub-sales, discharge of charge, deed of receipt and reassignment, perfection of transfer and tenancy. She also assisted in matrimonial proceedings, Will and trust, and estate administration.

Hanis Hazidi
Hanis Hazidi graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons) in 2020 and was called to the Bar in November 2021. Prior to her graduation, she underwent internship with the Royal Police Force of Malaysia (PDRM) and with the Attorney General’s Chamber in both the Civil and Criminal Departments. This was when her passion for litigation was ignited.
Upon graduating, she commenced her pupillage in Messrs Brijnandan Singh Bhar & Co. where she was exposed to the world of civil litigation with a focus on running down suits and medico- legal cases. She later continued to refine her skills in litigation when she joined Messrs. Sivananthan. Here, she was exposed to the practise of criminal litigation where she was tasked to handle cases under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and the Penal Code.
Hanis joined Messrs. Chee Sun & Associates in September 2022 and she currently focuses on general civil litigation encompassing a wide array of areas including but not limited to contractual and tortious claims, divorce cases, family matters and appeal matters, banking litigation, probate, and letters of administration. With her passion for litigation and great attention for details, she continues to strive to explore the wide areas of civil litigation while ensuring the best and practical approach to her cases remain as her top priority.

Nur Syuhada Binti Sadzali
Nur Syuhada graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) in 2021. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 30th September 2022.
She commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Eliz, Zain & Kadariah in Conveyancing Department where she was exposed in handling loan documentation for sub-sales, refinance and corporate loan.
She joined Messrs. Chee Sun & Associates in March 2023 as a Legal Associate and continue her practise in Conveyancing mainly on sub-sales and post auction matters.

Kwong Bi Yan
Ms Kwong graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons) in 2021. Prior to joining Messrs Chee Sun & Associates in March 2023, she commenced her pupillage at Messrs Balendran Chong, Kuantan, Pahang where she was exposed to various conveyancing matters like handling sub-sale matters, tenancy agreements, development projects, housing and corporate financing documentation. After completing her pupillage and being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022, she joins Messrs Chee Sun & Associates as Legal Associate and continues to enhance her knowledge and experience in the field of conveyancing, such as preparation of sale and purchase agreement for various types of properties, tenancy agreements, perfection of transfer and charge and loan financing. Apart from conveyancing, she also explores other areas of law where she is actively involved in the drafting and vetting of commercial agreements including but not limited to shareholders agreement, share sales agreement, management agreement and etc.

Sherlynn Ooi See Shean
Sherlynn graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) thereafter. She commenced her pupillage at Messrs. NTP Chambers and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in August 2022. She was exposed to various conveyancing matters including sub-sale transactions, financing, perfection of transfer & charge and discharge of charge & deed of receipt and reassignment. Apart from conveyancing, she also had the opportunity to handle probate & estate administration matters and civil litigation matters such as debt recovery and contract disputes.
She joined Messrs. Chee Sun & Associates in November 2023 and expand her practices in conveyancing matters.

Cathy Chai Xian Hui
Cathy Chai Xian Hui is an Associate in the Conveyancing Department at our firm. She holds an LL.B (Hons.) degree from Multimedia University (MMU). Following her graduation, Cathy undertook pupillage under Mr. Loh Chang Woo, President of the Malaysia China Legal Cooperation Society, gaining extensive experience in diverse legal matters including document legalization and visa applications across various jurisdictions.
Cathy’s legal practice spans conveyancing and corporate law, encompassing sub-sales, sales of ordinary and preference shares, employment contract drafting, company due diligence, tenancy matters, as well as will drafting, probate, transmission, and transfer.
Beyond her legal practice, Cathy is committed to advancing Malaysian law and contributing to society through providing legal assistance to underserved communities. She served as the leader of the legal aid program at the KL Bar, offering pro bono legal advice to disadvantaged individuals. Additionally, she actively fosters international legal relations as a member of the Malaysia China Legal Cooperation Society, participating in symposiums such as the Malaysia China Legal Cooperation Society and the All-China Federation of Overseas Chinese Legal Symposium to cultivate relationships with Chinese legal professionals.

Nurul Syakila Binti Saliman
She graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2020 and commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Hoe & Ng. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2022. Thereafter, she
was retained by Messrs. Hoe & Ng as a legal assistant where she was exposed to various conveyancing matters and deceased estate matters.
Subsequently, she continues her journey as a legal assistant with Messrs. Wong & Kiu focus on real estate matters, mainly sub-sale transactions involving landed and non-landed property, corporate conveyancing, post-auction and a variety of loan documentation from different financial institutions. During her time with Messrs. Wong and Kiu, she was also exposed to uncontested matrimonial matters and deceased estate matters.
Later, she joined Messrs. Chee Sun & Associates as a legal assistant and continues her practice in conveyancing related matters.

Tan Zi Xuan
Ms Tan Zi Xuan holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Prior to joining Messrs Chee Sun & Associates in December 2024, she commenced her pupillage at Messrs Mah-Kamariyah & Philip Koh, Selangor where she was exposed to various corporate projects like handling capital markets, M&A, and several corporate and commercial advisory matters.
After completing her pupillage and being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2023, she joins Messrs Chee Sun & Associates as Legal Associate and continues to enhance her knowledge and experience in the field of conveyancing, such as sub-sale transaction for both landed and non-landed properties, tenancy agreements, perfection of transfer and charge and loan financing.

Lim Li Ken
Mr Lim Li Ken graduated from Multimedia University with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons) in 2022. He commenced his pupillage at Messrs Ong Kok Bin & Co. where he was given the opportunity to be exposed to litigation matters particularly in corporate litigation and banking litigation. He was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 15/09/2023 upon completing his pupillage.
Mr Lim’s determination to explore different areas of legal field motivated him to start his legal journey in Messrs Abraham Ooi & Partners which he was given the opportunity to be exposed to conveyancing matters such as housing or corporate financing documentation. Mr Lim then joined Messrs Chee Sun & Associates on November 2024 and is currently handling sub-sales transaction, financing, perfection, post-auction and others.

Yok Jiang Lin
Yok Jiang Lin graduated from Multimedia University (MMU) with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in June 2019. Upon graduating, she embarked on her legal journey at Messrs K.P. Ng & Amardas as a pupil. She was later retained as a legal associate where she worked closely with senior counsels, assisting in civil matters from filing of the action in courts of first instance to hearings, trials and appellate proceedings in Court of Appeal and Federal Court. During her time at the firm, she also gained valuable exposure to a broad spectrum of civil litigation, involving contractual and tortious claims, professional negligence and contentious banking litigation.
In November 2024, Jiang Lin joined Messrs Chee Sun & Associates, where she continues her practice in general civil litigation, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. As she advances in her legal career, she strives to develop a well-rounded approach to litigation, combining a strong command of the law with strategic problem-solving to best serve her clients’ interests.
